Timothy Hayes knows firsthand how to run a multi-billion dollar organization while developing great leaders.
He served for 15 years as President of North America for Bayer’s industry-leading Consumer Healthcare Division, led the global integration following Bayer’s $14.2 billion acquisition of Merck Consumer Health, and, over 25 years, helped Bayer’s annual sales increase from $210 million to $3.3 billion in North America. He also mentored at all levels and inspired a deep sense of teamwork.
Building a winning culture, leading during mergers and integrations, and motivating departments to work together are a few of the skills Tim gained during his 37-year career in consumer packaged goods, which started with 12 years at Quaker Oats and spanned positions in Key Customer Management, Sales Training, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Executive General Management.
An industry leader known for his warmth and approachability, Tim is the former Chairman of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, a former Associate Board Member for NACDS (National Association of Chain Drug Stores), and the recipient of the 2016 Robert B. Begley award, the chain pharmacy industry’s highest honor.
He earned his B.A. degree in business and marketing from Furman University in Greenville, S.C.
