Elaine L. Arozarena

Elaine L. Arozarena is a Managing Director with vast experience in leading and managing human capital initiatives for global companies (private and publicly-held).

Elaine has conducted more than 300 senior management assignments over the past 20 years. She specializes in International, Diversity and Board Level projects. Elaine has worked for the major Executive Search firms (both private and public) leading various Regions and opening new markets. She was also responsible for developing major relationships/accounts between the Americas and Europe, Elaine split her time between the US and Europe.
Prior to her career in executive search, Elaine served as VP and Managing Director of Media and News Services for Nielsen International, and VP of International Client Sales and Services for Nielsen Europe. For more than ten years she held several senior Regional Management positions in Latin America and Europe with Dun & Bradstreet International-Credit Services Division. Her first roles were with the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público (Ministry of Finance-International Relations unit for the Mexican Government) and with the Renewable Energy Resources Division of the World Bank in Washington, D.C. 
Elaine’s present Board activities include President of Sabores Autenticos de Mexico Foundation, 
VP/Founder of Camara de Comercio Mexico-Espana, She is also on the Board of Advisors for Violy & Co in NYC and Sabertia with headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.  She supports Anthea-Art Investments (Zurich), Pall Mall Art Advisers (UK) and MasterArt (Belgium), all tangible asset management firms.  She was on the Board of Eyelock  (Biometric group now VOXX Owned) ,SECOT (AARP equivalent)  in Madrid, Spain, Software AG, Hatton Investments and Board of Trustees of Sweet Briar College. 
Elaine is a Member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF), with headquarters in, D.C. and has founded various chapters globally. She is a Dame of the Knights of Malta. A Member of Stora Amaranther Order in Sweden, The Cousteau Society, The Smithsonian Institution, The World Wildlife Fund, The Sierra Club, The Americas Society and Council of the Americas in NYC. She is a member of El Círculo de Empresarios in Madrid and El Círculo de Economía and Circulo Ecuestre in Barcelona. She is the President of Asociacion de Restaurantes Mexicanos in Spain and of 165 E 60 Street, Inc. in NYC.
Elaine, is a Mexican and Spanish national, is married to a Spaniard, has lived in more than seven countries and is fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and English. She earned both a BA in International Affairs and a BS in Environmental Studies with Highest Honors from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, USA.  She also has a Diploma from Institut des Sciences Politiques and from Universite de Paris VII in Paris, France. 
Elaine believes that the world is “small” and she services clients by carefully listening to issues and needs in a complex constant changing global economy. Solutions often come from “having learned from others”!
