Michael leads the healthcare and life sciences practice for JBK. Since joining the firm in 2007, Michael has held leadership roles across research, recruitment, executive search operations and practice management.

His retained executive search expertise includes successful placements across the full life-cycle of pre-clinical development through commercialization, as well as central business functions and technical operations. Our life sciences practice includes pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, hospital systems, healthcare services, health insurers and non-profit organizations. Client companies include start-ups, venture-backed companies, mid-caps and large, multi-nationals.

Michael and the team provide JBK Associates' clients with outstanding candidates in various functional specialties including marketing, sales, digital, finance, human resources, medical affairs and research & development, quality and regulatory, among others. In addition to leading JBK's life sciences practice, he has successfully led engagements in consumer products, manufacturing and energy.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Thought from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and attended the Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ. In his spare time, he supports a number of charitable organizations with particular emphasis on assisting our nation's veterans and their families. He lives in Bergen County, New Jersey with his wife, children and rescue dog, Max.

"Our objective is to be an extension of the client organization, not a vendor. We entrench ourselves in the culture of our clients, meeting key internal stakeholders, learning internal processes and understanding key business drivers, while ensuring that our process is seamless and effective. My goal is to lead our team to continuously exceed client expectations with regard to our partnership, communication and deliverables."
