At JBK, his specialties include sales and marketing management, training, business process improvement, leadership coaching and change management. Steve built deep and diverse industry knowledge spanning more than fifteen years in both executive search and management consulting, backed by nearly 20 years of sales and marketing leadership at the Senior Vice President level.
In the search arena, and prior to joining JBK, Steve served as a Principal at DHR International and Vice President at Gundersen Partners, LLC and Michael E. Marion & Associates, Inc. His industry expertise includes Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Advertising Agency, Retail and Financial Services. His tenure in sales and marketing includes the cosmetics industry, where he held positions such as SVP of Sales for Sanofi Beauty Products and EVP/General Manager for the start-up Tyra Cosmetics in Chatsworth, California. He also served as EVP of Sales & Marketing for the Headstrong Group, where he directed the worldwide marketing and sales strategies for this manufacturer of recreational safety helmets. Steve earned a master’s degree in Psychology from Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y.
