Mike Young spent 14 years as a pre-clinical research scientist before shifting his career into Life Sciences recruiting in 2013.

For the past 7 years, Mike has placed Senior level professionals with clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics industries. He has established a vast network of life science executives around the world and has successfully completed engagements across numerous functional areas including Pre-clinical Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production, Business Development, Sales, HR and others.

Mike has a passion for building Research and Development teams but has also built entire clinical teams from Clinical Research Associate to Senior Vice President of Clinical Development, including Regulatory Affairs, Bioinformatics, Safety, Operations, and Development.

Prior to his work as an executive recruiter, Mike was an in vivo research for the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF). He specialized in immunology models and has had several of his programs moved into late stage clinical trials.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Carroll College in Helena, Montana.
