Ken Amicon brings more than 25+ years of retained executive search experience. As a Principal at JBK Associates, he focuses on new business development and expanding partnerships within a wide array of industry verticals including but not limited to: healthcare, insurance, life sciences and the industrial markets. Ken partners with large, mid-cap, and private equity and venture-backed high-growth companies to build senior leadership teams from Senior Director through the C-suite.
Ken previously held leadership roles with nationally recognized search firms including Witt/Kieffer, Taylor Strategy Partners and Boyden, where he executed senior-level searches across his industries of focus partnering with executive teams and boards.
Known for accessing and engaging high-impact leaders who are not actively in the market, Ken serves as a trusted advisor on leadership decisions that impact growth and execution. In his Principal role, he works with organizations to understand growth priorities, align on search strategy, and introduce JBK Associates’ capabilities to address critical leadership needs. He began his career as an entrepreneur, founding and leading a successful business in the health and wellness sector. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University.
